Mobile App:

Instal the app & login 

  1. Download the Jeenie mobile app by visiting the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  2. On your mobile device or tablet, tap the Jeenie icon to launch the app.
  3. Log in with your User ID and password. (This only needs to be done for initial setup.)

Get an interpreter in the app:

  1. Verify your language and Service type.
  2. Select the language you need help.
  3. Tap Audio or Video and an interpreter will answer, often in less than 15 seconds!

Web Browser: Place an on-demand Jeenie call

Log into app.jeenie.com in a web browser with your Jeenie User ID and password.
You can use any web browser except Internet Explorer.

 

Get an interpreter in the app

  1. Verify your language and Service type.
  2. Select the language you need help.
    1. Tap Audio or Video and an interpreter will answer, often in less than 15 seconds!

      Note: Some accounts will be able to select different scenarios. These include options like Healthcare, Travel, etc. Your selection may be preset as a default till you (or your organization) change it.

  • How many participants can be in a Jeenie call?

    We recommend having no more than 4 participants in a video call and up to 10 participants in an audio call.

  • Do I re-enter my username & password every time I use Jeenie?

    No. The Jeenie mobile app auto-saves your login credentials so that you are already logged into Jeenie every time you open the app. You will stay logged in unless/until you specifically choose to log out.

  • Do I need to download/install an app on my computer to use Jeenie?

    No need to install or download anything.
    Users can visit app.jeenie.com on any web browser (except Internet Explorer) and login to place a Jeenie call.

  • Does my client/patient (participant) need to download the Jeenie app in order to meet with me and the interpreter?

    Participants do not need to download the Jeenie app to join your session from a laptop/pc.
    Your participant can join a session by clicking the “Join” link they receive to enter your meeting from their computer web browser.
    If the participant is clicking the link from a mobile device, it will take them to the app store to download the Jeenie app, and then connect them to the call. 


    You may also call a participant directly via the Jeenie App or Tele-Jeenie and the participant will simply receive an inbound call to their phone. If your participant wants to join your meeting from the Mobile App, they will need to install it first.

  • What if the language I need is not yet available on-demand?

    We have over 100 languages available on-demand.
    Other languages (over 300 languages) can be scheduled for future calls.
