Apple/iOS Specifications

Apple/iOS devices must meet the following requirements:

  • Capable of running iOS 12 or later
  • Able to install the app from the App Store
  • Must have a working camera and microphone
    • Note: For computers, an external camera or microphone can be used provided it is compatible with your device. Jeenie recommends wired connections rather than Bluetooth cameras or microphones.

Android Specifications

Android devices must meet the following requirements:

  • Capable of running Android 7 or later
  • Able to install the app from the Google Play Store
  • Must have a functioning camera and microphone.
     
    • Note: For computers, an external camera or microphone can be used provided it is compatible with your device. Jeenie recommends wired connections rather than cameras or microphones with bluetooth connections.

Browser Specifications

Jeenie is compatible with multiple browsers, provided they are upgraded to the most recent major versions or one major version prior:  

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari

Not Supported: Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.

External Headsets & Cameras

Desktop and tablet devices using the Jeenie Web App via browser must have a functioning camera and microphone.

  • External cameras and microphones can be used
  • External camera and microphone must be compatible with the user's device
  • Jeenie recommends wired connections.
  • Note: Bluetooth connections are more prone to technical issues and are not recommended while using Jeenie
