By default, Chrome will ask you if you would like to allow or deny websites from accessing your camera and microphone. In order to start a Jeenie interpreting session, you must grant Jeenie permission to access your camera, your microphone, and notifications. When you see the specific pop up windows appear, click ‘Allow while visiting site’ and 'Allow' for each of them.
If you need to change your permission settings in Chrome, follow these steps:

Open your Chrome web browser and click ‘Chrome’ in the top left menu bar

Click ‘Settings’ in the dropdown menu

Click ‘Privacy and security’ on the left menu panel, then click ’Site settings’

Search “Jeenie” in the top right and click the arrow next to app.jeenie.com

Choose ‘Allow’ in the dropdown menu next to ‘Camera’, ‘Microphone’, and 'Notifications' permissions
Mozilla Firefox
By default, Firefox will ask you if you would like to allow or deny websites from accessing your camera and microphone. In order to start a Jeenie interpreting session, you must grant Jeenie permission to access your camera and your microphone. When you see the pop up window appear, click the checkbox next to ‘Remember this decision’ and then click ‘Allow’.
If you need to change your permission settings in Firefox, follow these steps:

Open your Firefox web browser and click ‘Firefox’ in the top left menu bar, then click ‘Preferences’

Click ‘Privacy & Security’ in the menu panel on the left side

Scroll to the bottom of the page where you can access the ‘Permissions’ section

Click ‘Settings…’ next to ‘Camera’ and select ‘Allow’ before pressing ‘Save Changes’

Click ‘Settings…’ next to ‘Microphone’ and select ‘Allow’ before pressing ‘Save Changes’
📌 NOTE: If you're using a device at work or school, your network administrator can set camera and microphone settings for you. In that case, you can't change them without their assistance.
