Urgent Schedule Requests (Less than 24 Hours Notice)
While we do our best to support our clients, "urgent" scheduled call requests or changes to previously scheduled session that are less than 24 hours from the event time, they are not guaranteed for placement. The Jeenie scheduling platform is not capable of booking any prescheduled calls less than 12 hours in advance.
Our agreement with business clients:
Our contract with clients is that they will provide us at least 24 hours advanced notice to schedule calls or to make changes to an already scheduled call. (Note: The industry standard is a minimum of 36 hours notice to schedule linguists or change a pre-scheduled session.)
Best practice to guarantee placement:
Book or change a scheduled call a minimum of 24 hours in advance of that session.
While we understand there are emergency situations that may arise with less than 24 hour notice, we do not guarantee placement of those calls. Booking an "Urgent" scheduled request or change request to a scheduled call may result in additional fees.
For example:
- If a call is reserved for 60 minutes and a Scheduled Call Change Request is sent in Under 24 Hours in advance and changing the call to a different day, the Client will be charged for both the old call and the new call.
- If a call is reserved for 60 minutes and a Scheduled Call Change Request is sent in Under 24 Hours only in advance and shortening the duration of the call to 30 minutes, the Client will be charged at the original 60 minutes to ensure that the interpreter is fairly compensated for the time they have booked for the call.
- If a call is reserved for 60 minutes and a Scheduled Call Change Request is sent in Under 24 Hours in advance and lengthening the duration of the call to 90 minutes, the Client will be charged for 90 minutes.
